    ‘‘ It was an absolutely incredible evening which exceeded any dining experience we’ve had before. Every course was presented to an exceptional standard band made us want to tuck straight in. The Flavours and textures were equistite, and complimented each other so well - each dish leading seamlessly into the next. Its hard to pick a favourite from the evening as every single dish was perfect, but the Trout Tart, BBQ Monkfish and Chocolate & Raspberry all went down very quickly.

    We had a delightful evening to celebrate a milestone birthday. A group of five foodie friends enjoyed a gastronomic treat. The nine course tasting menu was beautifully presented and imaginative flavours and colours combined to make artworks on our plates. We loved all the courses - not too large but generous enough to give us a good taste of everything. The fish was particularly memorable along with the pudding. Chef Carl came out to tell us about how the individual courses were assembled and he was informative and modest. We had a wonderful evening with a gorgeous sunset too.

    Truly an unforgettable and unique tasting experience! Tyme restaurant went above and beyond in creating a sustainable and extremely tasty 9 dish menu with a variety of ingredients. My favourites being the BBQ Stone Bass and the Cheese Gourgère.

    ‘‘ A fantastic modern dining experience, not to be missed. We loved all 9 courses, especially the lamb with ewe’s curd. Presentation of dishes was innovative and varied, and the flavours were exceptional. Carl focusses on sustainability and aims to use all parts of produce in his dishes, reducing waste and introducing us to new flavours. The perfect dining experience for a summer date, or for anyone who is a fan of fine dining. ‘‘

    Had an amazing foodie night at this the first of Carls pop up restaurant nights in Cardiff. The venue was at a by day bakery called Ground.

    Even though there was only 10 people eating the atmosphere was great.The Chefs window was a great feature so we could see Chef preparing all the dishes close up.

    The menu was great, especially as some of my dishes needed to be swapped for the Veggie option due to my allergies.

    The stand out dishes for me where his Welsh Leek dish, the Ravioli filled with Ewes curd with Pea Purée and mint. The desert called “Strawberry” was wow in the mouth and so refreshing.

    Check it out you won’t be disappointed.
